Course Aims

This course is designed to prepare students for their co-curricular experience related to energy, environment or sustainability. Students are required to attend career training workshops in order to pass the course. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have developed a range of skills to enhance their employability. This course is a prerequisite of SEE4000 Professional Development II.

For students pursuing the INSPIRE stream, additional training workshops on entrepreneurship will be provided so that they are able to develop an innovative mindset while gaining familiarity with the procedures involved in business development.

Continuous Assessment: 100%
Examination Duration: N/A hours
To pass a course, a student must do ALL of the following:

1) obtain at least 30% of the total marks allocated towards continuous assessment (combination of assignments, pop quizzes, term paper, lab reports and/ or quiz, if applicable);
2) obtain at least 30% of the total marks allocated towards final examination (if applicable); and
3) meet the criteria listed in the section on Assessment Rubrics.
