Additional Information

To nurture BBA Global Business students as global elites, students are required to go abroad for a mandatory student exchange, either in North America or in Europe or in a country of student's choice as a graduation requirement. Normally, the exchange will take place in Year 2 Semester B (BBAU4). Variations to this pattern will be handled on an exceptional basis by the programme leader. In order to participate in an exchange, students must fulfill the requirements, including a minimum CGPA.

In addition, students are also required to declare a second major within their second and third year of study. Students are required to fulfill the degree requirements associated with the home major and the major requirement for the second major. To apply for the second major, students must fulfil the requirements, including a minimum CGPA.

Students who fail to fulfill the above requirements will either have to defer their graduation (i.e. until such requirements are fulfilled) or will have to switch to a different major of which exchange or declaration of second major is not required.

The graduation requirements of one mandatory student exchange and declare a second major can also be met if students enroll in the CityU/Columbia University Joint Degree Programme.
