Course Aims

This course is designed to considerably improve students' ability to communicate in German in every-day life. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to talk about work and spare time activities in present and past tense, make appointments with others, ask for the way and answer such questions to others, take part in a city tour and conduct a simple tour in German, communicate in respect to inviting and visiting people and giving and receiving presents, shop and talk about the physical properties of various items. Students will have completed Level A1 of the Common European Framework of References.
