Course Aims | ||||||||||||
This course is the introductory course on Nanoscience for the MSc in Applied Physics Programme and is designed to familiarize students to the interdisciplinary aspect of nanoscience by integrating important components of the broad research field. While focusing on physics, this integrated approach will cross the traditional disciplines of biology, chemistry, and electrical engineering. Fundamental properties of materials at the nanoscale, synthesis of nanoparticles/nanomaterials, characterization tools, selfassembly, and nanoscale devices and systems will be covered. | ||||||||||||
