Course Aims | ||||||||||
This theme-based course aims to explore different styles, features, and genres of both literary and non-literary texts. We will engage with a wide range of materials to understand how translation work in different contexts, thereby training students to develop skills needed for various translation activities. This course also aims to introduce basic principles and concepts in translation studies from both the modern and contemporary periods in order to help students develop their own skills and styles in translation. | ||||||||||
