Course Aims

This course is designed to provide students with intellectual tools to analyze and make effective decisions in a variety of contexts. It also seeks to help students to understand and examine both how they currently make their decisions and how a variety of methods will allow them to considerably improve their decision making. The course will be a combination of exercises, discussions, and analyses. Cross-disciplinary research on decision-making as well as experiential learning exercises will be used to accomplish the course's objectives. 

1) To provide cross disciplinary knowledge on the key concepts and theories in behavioural decision-making  

2) Provide students with structured opportunities to make and systematically review their own decisions.  

3) Develop in students the practical skills to make good decisions in their personal and professional life.  

4) To improve various skills for decision making, including critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
