Course Aims | ||||||||||
This course aims to finalize a book project of publishable quality which draws upon the student’s existing book-length manuscript of creative writing. Students are exposed to detailed editorial critique of their work and are expected to revise writing through as many drafts as necessary to achieve as close to a final book manuscript that is of publishable quality. Students may only work in the genre studied for their MFA, unless special approval is obtained to work in a different genre. Approval will usually require submission of a book-length manuscript draft. This course offers separate sessions and students can choose from either Creative Non-fiction or Fiction or Poetry. | ||||||||||
