The UBC Vancouver Summer Program was an enriching experience that exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The combination of rigorous academic content, practical laboratory experience, and international exposure provided a comprehensive learning experience that has significantly contributed to my growth as a student and as an aspiring medical professional. Studying in Vancouver, a city known for its natural beauty and cultural diversity, added to the overall enjoyment of the program. Exploring the city and experiencing Canadian culture outside of the classroom was a highlight of my time there. The program not only deepened my knowledge of medical laboratory science but also equipped me with essential skills in problem-solving, communication, and global awareness. The support from faculty, especially in times of unexpected challenges, and the encouragement during intense projects have left a lasting impact on me. I am confident that the lessons learned and the skills developed during this program will serve me well in my future academic and professional endeavors.
