The Workshop on Genome Editing Tool Developments and Clinical Applications (#HKCRISPR25) was a great success, held on 3 April 2025 at Hong Kong Science Park. Renowned and active scholars in the field of genome editing from Mainland China, Sweden, Korea, Saudi Arabia, and the United States joined forces with local genome editing researchers to share their groundbreaking research findings, discoveries and innovations, along with exciting clinical developments.

The event featured 17 invited lectures and brought together over 100 participants engaged in lively discussions about the latest advancements and exchanging ideas and insights on genome editing technology and clinical applications. The workshop was filled with strong enthusiasm for the future development of genome editing technology into therapeutics for human diseases.

With all the exciting developments and opportunities underway, we look forward to seeing what new initiatives and collaborations will emerge, building Hong Kong as a vibrant international hub for health and medical innovation.
