We are delighted to announce that Prof. ZHANG Yong, our Head of Department, has been elected as a Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts. This honor recognizes his outstanding achievements in the field of Technical and Environmental Sciences.

Prof. Zhang’s research focus is nanomedicine, biomedical engineering, material science and medical devices. He was conferred a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), a Fellow of Singapore Academy of Engineering (FSAEng), and a Fellow of IEEE. He was named as Global Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate Analytics, and listed on World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier BV.
