Miss CHEN Zilin, the PhD student of Prof. Kannie CHAN, won the Best Oral Presentation in the 10th International Workshop on Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer Imaging (CEST 2024) with the paper titled “The effect of aquaporin-4 inhibition on cerebrospinal fluid-tissue water exchange in mouse brain detected by magnetization transfer indirect spin labelling MRI”. Miss Chen was also awarded The Outstanding Academic Performance Award for Research Students by Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies in 2024.

The CEST aims to provide a forum for all scientists and clinicians to discuss the recent developments and foster the development of CEST technology and the translation of CEST into clinical practice.
