Our Department jointly organized a 5-day Summer Exchange Programme with the College of Biomedical Engineering and Instrument Science of Zhejiang University during 12-16 August 2024. This exchange programme aims to facilitate the intellectual exchange between students from CityUHK and Zhejiang University. Around 40 participants worked together for a week on the theme of “Biomedical imaging and technology” organized by Prof. Kannie W. Y. CHAN and faculty members from both universities.

During the exchange programme, students attended two seminars given by speakers from both universities on biomedical imaging, engaged in some workshops, visited key labs of the department and the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering at the Hong Kong Science Park, and presented interesting group projects at the end. Both students and faculties had rewarding experiences in this inspiring summer programme.
