The Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Biomedical Sciences co-organized the Symposium on Innovation in Biomedicine and Bioengineering at CityU on 23 Sep 2023.

The symposium started with the opening remarks by Prof. LI Wen Jung, Vice President (Talent and Internationl Strategy), and the welcome speech by both Heads, Prof. ZHANG Yong (BME) and Prof. HUANG Yu (BMS). A total of 16 faculty members from both departments delivered insightful talks, covering the advancements in medical imaging and regenerative medicine, and the development of biomaterials and bioinformatics tools. Each talk offered a unique perspective, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of the symposium and encouraging cross-pollination of ideas.
