On-site registration is also available at the Tat Chee Avenue entrance of the Lau Ming Wai Academic Building, adjacent to the Amphitheatre on the second floor. (Click here for the image)

You are welcome to use the registration system to book a complimentary ticket to visit the Indra and Harry Banga Gallery, City University of Hong Kong. Before registering, please read the following Terms and Conditions:

* The Gallery will comply with the requirements and restrictions announced by the Government and the University.

How to Register
  • Online registration is mandatory for non-CityUHK-affiliated visitors.
  • The online registration system is available 24 hours, registration should be made at least three working days before the intended visit (by 6 PM) to ensure timely processing.
  • Each visitor can only make one appointment with one registered email in the system at a time. Duplicate registrations will be discarded.
  • The name and ID number provided by the visitor must be consistent with ID card. Otherwise, the University's security might deny entry.
  • Visitors who wish to cancel their booking should do so at least two working days before the intended visit date on the system.
  • If a visitor fails to cancel an appointment before arriving, or if they do not show up twice in a row within a 12-month period, the Gallery reserves the right to reject any future bookings.
  • Visitors will receive a QR code at their registered email 48 hours after registration.
Visitor Notes
  • Visitors need to check-in at the tunnel entrance to CityUHK from Festival Walk.
  • Please present the QR code (printed or on the phone) and ID card for verification at the barrier.
  • Please note that the QR code only grants access to the Gallery.
  • Please follow the instructions given by the Gallery staff.
Inclement Weather

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above / "Extreme Conditions" *
The Gallery will be closed. The Gallery will remain closed that day if the warning signal is lowered less than 3 hours before the normal closing time.

 

Black Rainstorm Warning Signal
If the signal is issued during the normal opening hours, the Gallery will remain open. If the signal is issued before the opening hours, the Gallery will not be opened until the warning is cancelled. The Gallery will remain closed that day if the warning signal is cancelled less than 2 hours before the normal closing time.

 

In all of the above cases, visitors will be required to submit a fresh application online for all cancelled visits.
* In the case of serious disruption of public transport services, extensive flooding, major landslides or large-scale power outage caused by a super typhoon, the Government will make an announcement of "Extreme Conditions".

Other Matters
  • All visitors admitted to the Gallery shall observe the above terms and conditions to ensure a smooth visit as they have indicated their agreement to the rules when submitting their applications. The Gallery reserves the right to amend the above terms and conditions without prior notice. The Gallery also reserves the right to decide on the final interpretation of these terms and conditions, as well as the right to accept or reject any applications.
  • These terms and conditions may be changed at any time without notice.
  • The English version of these terms and conditions prevails over the Chinese version in the event of discrepancies.
  • The Gallery’s data privacy and security policy applies to all personal data collected from the registration.
