Purpose of the Project

To help secondary school students in Sham Shui Po District gain more appreciation of their own community and its amazing economic and social transformation over the past few decades through project-based learning with new media technologies.

To help students imagine and visualize the future of Sham Shui Po District that is exciting and promising from the youth's perspective.

To help students develop non-cognitive skill sets, such as teamwork, a stronger sense of community pride and civic-mindedness, and greater cultural sensitivity.

To evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of civic educaiton that integrates history, media technologies, and policy studies and recommend new patheways for future education programmes in Hong Kong.
