Biography

David Clarke BVSc, Dip AVDC, FAVD, MANZCVS, Cert IV TAE is a Board Certified, Specialist in Veterinary Dentistry and Small Animal Oral Surgery. He completed his residency at the Dallas Dental Animal Hospital Service in Dallas, USA under Dr Bob Wiggs and is both a Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College (AVDC) and Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. He is the author of 13 peer-reviewed scientific publications and two book chapters. David runs a private referral dental service in Melbourne, Australia; teaches at Massey University Veterinary School in New Zealand and Melbourne University Veterinary School; and is the Dental Consultant to Taronga and Western Plains zoo, Zoos Victoria, Adelaide and Monarto zoos. He has a professional interest in zoo animal dentistry, holding a Certificate from AVDC in Zoo and Wildlife Dentistry. David is the immediate Past President of the American Veterinary Dental College and regularly conducts dental webinars / seminars and workshops throughout Australia/New Zealand and Asia (China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand).
