CityU Men's and Women's Rugby Team participated in 2019 Hong Kong Rugby Union Tertiary Rugby Invitational Sevens held at King’s Park Sports Ground on 5-6 January 2019. After tight competition against over 50 men’s and women’s teams, CityU Men's Rugby Team won the first runner-up in the Men’s Elite Cup and Women's Rugby Team claimed champion in the Women's Elite Cup.
