Dr. Yixuan Yuan is an assistant professor in EE Department of City University of Hong Kong since April 2018. She was a postdoctoral Fellow in Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford Cancer Center, Stanford University, supervised by Prof. Lei Xing during 2017-2018. She received the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), advised by Prof. Max Q.-H. Meng in 2016 with Hong Kong Postgraduate Fellowship (HKPFS), and obtained the B.S. degree in Automation from Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China in 2010. During 2010-2012, She conducted research in the lab of pattern recognition and intelligent system in NPU under the supervision of Prof. Lei Guo, and Prof. Tianming Liu. She was a visiting student in Radiology at Stanford University, supervised by Prof. Daniel L. Rubin from 2014 to 2015. Her research interests is precision medicine with machine learning, such as image classification, object detection and segmentation, object tracking.
