When students gather from all walks of life with different backgrounds and share the same living environment, who should be given credit for promoting interaction among the residence community and unifying residents?
Right, the credit list should include our Residents¡¦ Associations. Let¡¦s give a big hand for their endless efforts and their leading roles in promoting a dynamic atmosphere in the residence halls. And of course, without support from each of you and your participation in the activities organised by your Hall¡¦s RA, we would be miles away from building a strong community.
The joint-hall annual election for Residents¡¦ Associations (2008/09) was successfully held on 22- 23 October 2008 in Multi-function Hall A. Thanks for voting!
You may not forget the scenes when the RA cabinets promoted themselves in the lobbies when you were back in the halls. You may also have heard that they stayed late to go through a tough consultation to demonstrate their suitability for being representatives of their residents.
