Some jobs advertised in JobPlus accept on-line application through the Joint Institution Job Information System (JIJIS). JIJIS is a web-based job information system shared by the 8 UGC-funded tertiary institutions in Hong Kong. It offers one-stop online recruitment services to current students and fresh graduates of full-time UGC-funded programmes. Students who want to submit your application through JIJIS should read carefully the following procedures and practices:
Procedures on using on-line application function of JIJIS:
Write down the job number of the job accepting on-line application in JobPlus
Use JIJIS password to log on JIJIS at www.jijis.org.hk (* For new JIJIS users, please see below.)
Prepare your resume.
Select the job you want to apply in JIJIS according to the job number.
Use the "Apply Now" function to submit your application.
New JIJIS users should register at JIJIS first to get a password. The password will be sent to you via your CityU student email account.
Guidelines for searching internship on JobPlus:
Select “Internship” in “Job Mode” field under “Find A Job” section for job information.
Write down the job number in Internship Job Platform and input the job number in “Job No.” field under “Find A Job” section for the job you would like to apply.
Access to Job Vacancy Information after Graduation (for Graduates of Full-time UGC-funded Programmes ONLY)
Graduates of full-time UGC-funded programmes can access the job vacancy information only via JIJIS until 31 August of the year following the graduation year. Students who want to use JIJIS after graduation have to register in JIJIS at www.jijis.org.hk to get a password before the registration deadline i.e. 15 working days before the expiry date of your CityU student email account. You may refer to the above section for registration procedures.
