Introduction
Academic Honesty is central to the conduct of academic work. Students are expected to present their own work, give proper acknowledgement of another's work, and honestly report findings obtained. Academic dishonesty is a serious offence in the University which can lead to severe penalties, including expulsion from the University and deprivation of an academic award already conferred. Understanding what constitutes academic honesty and respecting the University's Rules on Academic Honesty will help students be successful during their stay at CityU and throughout their professional careers.
