Before submission of their electronic dissertations, students should check the document Format of Electronic Dissertations on the correct format and number of files to be submitted, and the document How to Create an Electronic Dissertation Suitable for Submission on how to convert dissertations to PDF files. Remember that it is the student's responsibility to make sure that he/she has prepared the electronic taught postgraduate dissertation appropriately in the required format.
Students should confirm with their individual Faculties or Departments whether the electronic dissertations should be submitted together with the hard copy dissertations or separately at a later time. The most common method is for each student to save his/her files for submission in a CD-ROM and submit the disc together with the printed or hard copies of the taught postgraduate dissertation to the student's own Faculty or Department.
It is important to note that only those selected taught postgraduate dissertations that departments wish to pass to the Library will be made available to the University community. Individual direct submissions to the Library from students will not be accepted.
