Sophia Xiao YAO is currently pursuing master degree at National University of Singapore, major in English literature. She achieved her first degree in translation and interpretation in City University of Hong Kong in 2013. Her research interests include literary and commercial translation, Chinese ancient literature, comparative cultural studies, and women literature. Her first and foremost gratitude goes to Dr. Richard Shing-yue SHEUNG, for his valuable, meticulous and enlightening guidance.
