The "Know India -- Sharing India with the World" Book Donation Ceremony was held on 26 February 2019 in the Run Run Shaw Library, City University of Hong Kong. In this ceremony, a number of books were donated by the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong to CityU.
This book donation ceremony is a special occasion to celebrate the deepening ties with India through cultural exchange. We are honored to have Mr. Narayan Singh, Consul and Head of Chancery, Education & Culture from the Consulate General of India, Hong Kong, Professor Li Wen Jung, Associate Provost (Institutional Initiatives), and Professor Samuel M. Y. Ho, Acting University Librarian to be present in the ceremony.
This new addition of books will open a door for students to understand more about the vibrant and diverse Indian culture. The books will be on a special display in the Library and will be available to the CityU community starting from March. Whether you are teaching, learning or researching on a topic related to India, or just browsing the books for general interest, you will certainly find these books very useful.
