Kate Lam

Kate has been devoted to teaching, training and coaching diverse groups of learners and students for over a decade. She has solid teaching experience in applied linguistics, English business communication, EAP and ESP modules and the preparation course for IELTS. In addition to applied linguistics knowledge, she has been exploring professional training and teaching methods for influencing, pacing, leading and motivating her students by adopting counselling, training and coaching techniques from hypnotherapy, Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and mindfulness. In order to deliver a quality learning experience to multi-cultural students, she is also a qualified facilitator of intercultural programs. She is pursuing a master's degree in Business Psychology (MSc), and her research interests are leadership, engagement, motivation, learning, training, and work resilience.
