Hazal has been working in the higher education sector for more than 8 years. Prior to joining CityU, Hazal worked at a few universities in Hong Kong, teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for professional communication, IELTS, English enhancement, and presentation skills for undergraduates and postgraduates.
Hazal devotes her efforts to helping the public enhance their English competence. She was a column writer of the Education section in Singtao Daily, and was an instructor of a 96-hour IELTS course under the HKSAR's Continuing Education Fund (CEF). She also serves as a guest speaker to deliver talks on English proficiency skills in various institutions.
