Cherry obtained her BA in English from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She then completed her MPhil and PhD studies in Applied English Linguistics at CUHK. Prior to joining the Language Centre at City University of Hong Kong, she taught EAP and ESP courses at CUHK and Hong Kong Shue Yan University. Cherry’s main areas of interest include intercultural communication, EAP/ ESP, computer-assisted learning, and study abroad.
