There is no doubt that people cannot not communicate if they work in a team. Research reveals that poor communications account for 70% of the problems in the workplace while good communication provides a solid base for building an effective team. What is more, communication also influences team members’ relationship, responsibilities, promotion, and even career paths.
This course aims to help students enhance skills for communication and teamwork in a very practical and enjoyable way. Students will work in multi-disciplinary teams and practice communication skills and teamwork by playing a series of action-based games like building a paper car and playing with playing cards. The communication and teamwork skills will be useful for both learning on campus and working after graduation. It is assessed 100% by course work.
