Hong Kong is an ageing society. It is projected that by 2031, one in every 4 people would be age 65+. This course will enable you to acquire knowledge, skills, and attitudes to facilitate you living and working successfully in such a society.

Through interactive learning activities, you will identify an ageing society; differentiate between myth and reality about human ageing; reflect on your personal experiences and attitudes relating to ageing; and adopt an inter-disciplinary approach in appreciating how population-ageing affects you in terms of personal, familial, societal, and career dimensions. You will engage in a discovery-based group project integrating classroom learning with real life issues, e.g. preparing a life-story book, formulating a marketing plan, designing rehabilitation aids, or policy analysis.
