ACCOMPLISHMENT

This course aims to enable students to have a broad knowledge of recent wireless technologies in our daily life. The students after taking the course will have the basic comprehension of the science and technologies related to various communication systems including satellite services, global navigation, mobile network, WiFi, RFID, Bluetooth and near field communications. The student will learn the impact and influence of wireless technologies and related applications on modern society.

The teaching activities include teaching by instructor on the fundamental wireless communication systems and technologies, applications, and related daily life issues. Case studies are part of teaching activity for group discussion and presentation.

The assessment includes the following possible activities: assignment, quiz, case studies, project report and presentation.
