Course Aims

This course presents the student with an opportunity to conduct an in-depth investigation on an area of their own choice. The student should have some research experience gained from PHY4218 Independent Research I. This course will be taken with PHY4218 Independent Research I for fulfilling the requirement of GREAT programme. The student should discuss with the supervisor the work plans for this course and PHY4218 Independent Research I. The course aims to strengthen the student’s ability to integrate and apply knowledge, and develop a scientific approach to solve real-world problems in physics and related areas.
