Course Aims

The course aims to analyze the concept of numeric methods and their application in engineering problem solving. Students will evaluate how to formulate numerical models, select suitable numerical methods, and implement them using computer programming language, such as Python, MATLAB, etc. The course will examine the relationship between numeric methods and engineering problem solving, enabling students to apply these methods effectively.

Continuous Assessment: 50%
Examination: 50%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
Remark:
To pass the course, students are required to achieve at least 30% in course work and 30% in the examination. Also, 75% laboratory attendance rate must be obtained.
