Course Aims

This course aims to provide an overview of land use and urban planning concepts and legislation to students. It seeks to provide students necessary knowledge about the effect of various statutory and non-statutory land and planning controls on the land use patterns and urban built-forms in Hong Kong and other countries.

Assessment (Indicative only, please check the detailed course information)

Continuous Assessment: 80%
Examination: 20%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
To pass a course, a student must obtain minimum marks of 30% in both coursework and examination components, and an overall mark of at least 40%.
