The internship is aimed to enable students to gain real life working experience in local and/or international contexts for a period of time.  Students are expected to achieve in-depth and practical understanding of private or public sector operations and the professional contexts in which they are expected to apply creatively the theories and skills they have learned in the formal curriculum.
