Course Aims | ||||||||||
This course is an introduction to basic social science research methods. It will discuss different research tools and skills for conducting both qualitative and quantitative research. Students will explore theoretical and practical issues arising from the research process, including how to organize, analyze and interpret their findings. Students work on the design of a research project and a series of other assignments related to research topics. There will be a variety of classroom activities that help students better understand the research process and discover the way to apply social science research methods to address their research questions. | ||||||||||
