Each student should work on his/her thesis proposal in consultation with his/her supervisor(s). A proposal of good quality should be completed at the end of the course. The proposal should demonstrate the student’s ability to perform original research with contribution to the knowledge and understanding in the chosen field. The proposal must be approved by the panel set up by their home department on the basis of a submission of written proposal and an oral defence conducted.
