Programme Aims

This programme aims to present at postgraduate level the theories, methods, support techniques and skills required for efficient and effective management of the information systems function in the business, commercial, industrial and public sectors. 


Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

Upon successful completion of this Programme, students should be able to:

  1. Recognize and elicit of the scope and responsibilities of IS management and of its relationship to the wider IS-user and general management community 
  2. Explore and assess the socio-technical issues of information systems management 
  3. Design plans, control mechanisms, and architecture for IS projects for enhanced productivity and quality 
  4. Demonstrate communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work within a code of professional ethics and conduct
