Programme Aims

The programme aims to enable students to apply modern analytical and managerial skills that facilitate problem identification and analysis at all levels of operational practices and decision makings in Supply Chain Management. The programme benefits from the use of relevant technology and software packages to reinforce students’ understanding of the concepts, methods, and processes introduced.

Programme Intended Learning Outcomes (PILOs)

Upon successful completion of this Programme, students should be able to:
 
1. explain and apply key concepts and techniques within the core areas of Operations Management (OM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM);
2. select and apply appropriate optimization techniques to model, analyse, and evaluate OM/SCM problems;
3. demonstrate competence in using practical software for OM/SCM;
4. apply teamwork skills to efficiently and effectively identify, solve, and present the problems related to OM/SCM in written and/or oral format.
