Course Aims | ||||||||
This course aims to equip students to understand the context of the promotion of good governance by western states and international agencies. It aims to explore the politics of good governance and to examine why the agenda is often resisted by agents in the “developing world”. By exploring the interaction between the agents of good governance and actors in developing countries students will more fully appreciate the difficulty of regime transformation. | ||||||||
