Dr King LAI received the Teaching Excellence Awards (TEA) with the team led by Prof. Henry CHUNG from the Department of Electrical Engineering this year for their outstanding teaching practice.

The teaching practice they adopt is called Train the Trainer model. It includes various STEAM-related activities, such as workshops, competitions and free lessons for the community. The model emphasizes learning through conveying new knowledge and ideas to others, so that both trainers and trainees are able to meet their language goals.
