張海超
ZHANG Haichao
1987 年生於重慶萬州。2006 年於四川美術學院美術教育系畢業，獲學士學位。2011 – 2016 年就讀於法國貝桑松弗朗什孔泰高等美術學院，獲碩士學位。現為四川美術學院新媒體藝術系教師。
Born in Wanzhou, Chongqing in 1987, Zhang graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the Art Education department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. Between 2011 and 2016, he earned his master’s degree at the Institut supérieur des beaux-arts de Besançon in France,. He currently teaches at the new media art department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

「介面」在電腦程式設計語言中是一個抽象類別型，它被用來要求類必須實現指定的方法，使不同類的物件可以利用相同的介面進行溝通。房間中零散的幾張圖像便是這個空間介面的實體承載，我們手上的手機成為我們管窺另一處資料世界的介面之一。事實上，類似這樣的管窺發生在日常生活的每一處，只是虛擬的網路世界只以接近日常形態的資訊和圖像而出現。在空間的另一端，透過手機端的電子螢幕看到的埠景象與實體空間相呼應的是殘舊的，資料缺失的或錯亂的擬像，而期間光線矩陣正以其資料化的完美形態遠離現實世界的時間法則而流動，或靜謐，它們近乎于永恆態而遠離現實的規則存在著。現實世界中，實體之物在時間之下流失，而逆轉這種消逝的方式卻唯有以資料的方式將其保存。如此狀態下，交界處之「物」則不斷偏向於另一端的虛擬空間，和「物」之現實關聯在削減，它獨立於它的模擬之物，由另外參與者又不斷賦予它獨立於母體之外新的意義與內容，它不斷成長，長成之物名為 — 網路。張海超所一直試圖以新媒體虛擬技術在作品中所追問的，如是。

“In coding language, ‘interface’ is an abstract concept used to specify a common way in which different components of a system communicate with each other. The scattered images in the room are the physical embodiment of this spatial interface. Our mobile phones have become one of the interfaces we use to peek at the world of data. In fact, such “peeking” occurs everywhere in our daily life, except that the virtual world always appears in the form of data and images resembling what we see every day. What we see on the other side of the space, through the mobile phone screen, are images that correspond to the real world as obsolete, fragmented and broken simulations. At the same time the matrix of light, in its digitalised perfect form, moves or remains still in its own way, unrestrained by the rule of time in the real world, as if existing eternally and independently of the laws of reality. In the real world, physical objects perish over time; the only way to stop this is to preserve them as data. In this way, “objects” at the border of the real and virtual worlds are constantly pushed into the virtual space, while their relevance to an original reality diminishes. They become separate entities from the objects they represent, while other parties constantly enrich them with new meanings and significance, that are independent of their original meaning. The simulations keep growing and the result is the Internet. This is what Zhang Haichao seeks to explore with new media and virtual simulation in his work.”
