伍韶勁為跨領域藝術家及設計師，專長概念式、場域為本的社區主導項目。他透過互動裝置、公眾工作坊、體驗設計，將科技融入藝術創作，並應用藉具想象力的科技，為抽象的概念尋找現實的形態。
Kingsley Ng is an inter-disciplinary artist and designer with a focus on conceptual, site-specific, and community-engaging projects. He believes that art helps us to mediate our environment, whether as viewer or as participator. Like the grazing of the wind against grass, art is also about experience as well as about emotions. It reveals the invisible, gives shape to the intangible. These principles are driven not by a self-indulgent romance of art, but by a belief that art can be socially relevant. Art provides a language with which to render social issues alive and to meditate upon ideas and impressions that can engage a larger public.

當世界末日降臨之時，回到過去似乎是存活的唯一出路。《銀河鐵路》以影像化身一台從未來回到過去的列車，乘載不同乘客和他們的故事回到過去。是次旅程由一位少女憶述，帶領觀者穿梭於現實與虛幻、過去與將來之間，她的故事帶出都巿發展對民生和環境帶來的破壞，當中穿插多項時事及社會問題，並反映出人們對尋找樂土、懷念純真原始時光的渴求。
Galaxy Express is a speculative work: sometime in the future, human beings can no longer undo the damage we have inflicted on our home planet. The only chance for survival is in traveling back to the past. When the sun, the Earth, and the center of the galaxy are perfectly aligned, a train embarks on its journey to the past. Passengers on board are from all walks of life: scientists, industrialists, activists, smugglers… The story is told by a young girl, who has boarded the train, both to remember, and to forget…

作品曾於義大利羅馬當代美術館，日本越後妻有大地藝術祭，維也納 Kunsthalle Wien，義大利 Fabrica 研究中心，巴黎蓬皮杜中心聲學、音樂研究和協作學院學院的新音樂表達形式國際會議（NIME），上海世博，廣州三年展，香港巴塞爾藝術節，及臺北國際藝術博覽會展出。
Ng’s works have been featured in exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Arts in Rome, Italy; Echigo Tsumari Triennial in Japan; Kunsthalle Wien in Vienna; Fabrica Research Centre in Italy; NIME at the IRCAM-Centre Pompidou in Paris; Shanghai World Expo; Guangzhou Triennial; Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Taipei.
