卓穎嵐
CHEUK Wing Nam
卓穎嵐是本地同時從事聲音雕塑、新媒體藝術創作和程式設計的跨媒體藝術家。畢業於香港理工大學時裝設計系高級文憑課程、香港城市大學工商管理國際商業（日本）系學士課程及香港浸會大學視覺藝術碩士課程，主修藝術創作與延伸媒體。擅長新媒體藝術裝置、聲音雕塑，尤其關注從光與影、聲音與空間之間進行創作及表演。同時，她也是句點藝術群體中其中一位成員。
Cross-media artist Cheuk obtained a Higher Diploma in Fashion and Textile Studies from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business (Japan Studies) from the City University of Hong Kong. She then received a master’s degree in Visual Arts from the Hong Kong Baptist University, majoring in art creation and expanded media.

卡式錄音機和小提琴也是靠接觸才會發聲音。小提琴的聲音因為加了由卡式錄音機製造的弓而改變了。不再是局限於古典樂五線譜上的音符，而是更貼近人、更有觸感的聲音。
ak7 shou3 《握手》(2016) 是由小提琴和卡式機改裝而成的新媒體藝術作品，也是一件帶有實驗性的樂器。在小提琴的琴馬上裝了磁頭，以卡式錄音帶作小提琴的弓；在彈奏時，藝術家不同的決擇，會為小提琴和卡式磁帶之間的互動產生微妙的關係。從而探討行為的因由是來自經歷一連串不同事件後的反應，表達過去、當下和未來之間的連鎖關係。
我用Mozzi編寫了一個Arduino程式，而制作了一個控制器，當我扭制的時候控制器的聲音和小提琴弓上的摩打速度會改變。卡式錄音帶的聲音也會改變。
Both the cassette player and the violin emit sounds when touched. The range of the violin’s sound is changed by adding a new bow, made from the cassette player and tape. The sound no longer follows the standard pitch of a 12-tone scale in Western music, but also includes sounds outside that scale – sounds closer to people’s everyday life, as well as more tactile sounds.
ak7 shou3 is a new media art work composed by a violin and a cassette player. The bridge of the violin is attached to a magnetic head, and the cassette tape is used as the violin bow; during the performance, each decision made by the artist influences the delicate interaction between the violin and the tape; their interaction parallels that of the Past, the Present and the Future, revealing final outcomes or behaviours as the result of a series of a chain of events.
I made a small Arduino control tower with coding by Mozzi. The arduino emits VCO and a corresponding frequency pulse, PWM signal. Then, I connect these to the motor of violin bow, which is attached with the cassette tape. When I rotate the control switches on the tower, the voice of the tower and the speed of motor change.
